Game last night reminded me of Rose Bowl vs Miami

That was the point, Miami called off the dogs early (Larry Coker) to not embarras Nebraska. The Florida game was a Big Red domination and the score was probably closer than the two team that night.
Actually Nebraska tightened up the D a bit in the second half.. but keep going with your coke cornspiracy you weirdo

Yeah right, it was 34-0 at halftime
And the final was 37-14. Remember when Nebraska was up 24-0 against iowa. Teams make adjustments.

I might buy your theory if Dorsey, Portis and Shockey were all benched in the second half, but they weren’t.

Your comparison is awful and you should feel awful for making it.

Either Iowa or UNK
I'll take that over your GED - I never implied that they were the same score. I would think even simpletons like yourselves would be able to tell the diffrence. The use of some key words like "if" and "would" make it hard to understand, but that's okay.

Miami was defiantly better, but I don't think the talent level was as big a difference then in the tcu/georgia game..

Nebraska's main problem that year was it only used 2 plays...
crouch run right
crouch run left

and these 2 plays even made solich wonder if his offense was too complex...

so after Miami got done watching the cu game they knew..if the nebraska play wasn't crouch running left, it would indeed be crouch tuning right.

I think there was a big talent difference. The 2001 Miami team may have had the most talent of any college team in history.

Yep. Soft B12 team led by their hero QB that didn’t win the conference gets laughed off the field, likely to finish .500 the next season and not sniff success for decades

All I know is that losing to Miami 14-37 in The Rose Bowl felt like the severest of beat downs at the time.
I was at that game. Paid thru the nose for 50 yard line seats. Won't make that mistake again. I was so embarrassed for our team I couldn't wait to rip off my red Nebraska shirt after the game. It was all downhill from that point until now...

I was about 15 rows up in an endzone. Major bummer but I never had any thought of taking off my red.

See Ben Sajicek for details. By the way what is Ben doing these days besides recovering from a concussion?

It marked the last time Nebraska was relevant.

Final score was different, maybe we made some adjustments at half to come closer to a ‘moral victory’, but can’t disagree with the comparison. Was at that game :)

Miami 2000 and UGA 2022 were both semi-pro teams. How many Miami players went to the NFL compared to NU that class? Just curious. (Edit read above, lol yeah. Not on the same planet. Better question would be ‘how many NFL HOF’ers did we go up against that night’…)

Talent disparity was similar last nite, and it was obvious from the first series, lol…

Michigan and OSU were also both way closer to GA in terms of talent than TCU.

Sadly, safe to say TCU woulda wiped us all over the field. Maybe not by 58pts.

Illustrated how far away we are currently from OSU and Michigan. Here’s to hoping Rhule can infuse some talent. Looking forward to at least competing!
