Easily the worst weekend Iowa baseball has played all year, not a good time to do it either.

Also, not that it would have made a difference but this ump crew is less than impressive. They sucked last night and have sucked so far today. (Iowa would've lost last night and probably today regardless)

The bright side is this tourney is pretty pointless for Iowa, they are in and the committee has probably decided whether they are a 1 seed hosting or a 2 seed at this point. Although I get what your saying because winning is the whole point of playing a tourney. Agree on the umps, they have left a lot to be desired.

Very much agree. It's one thing to have a zone expanded a few inches, but it's unacceptable for it to change from one team to the other. Indiana pitchers have been getting a lot of calls down and away on right-handed batters that Iowa pitchers are not getting.

Like you said, probably not going to make much of a difference today, but very frustrating to see as someone without a rooting interest other than good baseball.

Yay more long TV delays between innings!

Speaking of advertising, there is a noticeable difference in the in-stadium ads during the BTN games vs. BTN+ games. Out are the annoying T-Mobile ads, and in are the Allstate, Dr. Pepper, Motel 6, and a couple financial services ads. If I hear Tom Bodett say "Hey Big Ten fans..." one more time...

I am a bit biased, I think he may have beat it out. However, the guy at 1B is the guy who was at home last night in IA/Mich and I thought he was terrible.

Still can't believe Iowa swept us.

During the regular season, that same Iowa team swept this Indiana team, and beat Michigan and Maryland 2 of 3 (both at their places). So clearly, this isn't the same Iowa team. They'd better raise the bar back to where it was before, or the rest of the post-season will be a short one.
