FWIW Washington gets felony dropped

Will he have enough credits to play FB in the fall for any D1 program? I don't know the rules on this...... Can he pick up credit hours in the summer to get to 12 credit hours and be eligible?

Good luck to the young man!

I believe the NCAA requires a certain number of hours demonstrating progress to a degree. Having been in college for two years this would be 48 hours completed I believe. I assume he is not enrolled this semester so he may be able to get by with just 36 hours. Based on how the fall semester went I doubt he is at 36 hours at this point so he would most likely be ineligible in the fall.

I think anyone with a logical brain cell saw the Felony getting dropped. That was the most ridiculous charge. I do find it funny that while at Neb this thing kept dragging on and dragging on. 2 months after he is no longer here it gets resolved. Wonder if he officially enters the portal or goes the JUCO route.
Mo Washington was a great story for ignorant trolls and Iowa fans, any intelligent person (which by definition excludes ignorant trolls and Iowa fans) knew there would never be a felony conviction.

I recently moved out of California. Beautiful state, but society there is going to hell. Not that MW shouldn't have been in the legal system for two years and got what he got, but far worse crimes are let go all the time for woke reasons. Now that I'm back in the Metro after 38 years, I forgot how much I missed the seasons.

California society/culture has been on the highway to hell for decades. It's an OK place to visit, but that is all. Hotel CA.

He was put through hell for almost 2 years for this. Seems extreme to me. But, Crapifornia is known for making mountains out of mole hills.
I wouldn’t say I consider him a victim in any of this, but the process sucks. No reason it should have taken 10 continuances and over a year to settle. I have no problem with a short jail sentence and glad felony dropped. Hope he learns from it and can move on with or without football

Wasn't he charged with a felony because that is what the law calls for? That is typical to be "charged" with the highest count and then let the courts decide it from there. It does seem like it took a while to settle but then again, from reports, it appears the communication on his end wasn't the best as well.

For sending a video?
For sending a video of a 15-year-old engaged in a sexual act (technically child pornography)....and without her permission as well.

Plus, he was obviously in possession of it if he sent it.

Forgive me if I'm misreading your tone, but I'd say that given the video, and as much as he jerked the authorities around, I'd say he's getting off pretty easy. If he had come clean right off the bat, this is already done with by now.

Sorry...but I tend to think the girl in the video was probably put through more hell than Mo was....and much of Mo's hell was on his own doing.

If it were my daughter, she'd be in hot water with me...and Mo would never play football again by the time I was done with him.

The felony was the possession of the video. Obviously he was in possession of it if he sent it.

It was dropped to resolve the case. No other reason.

So is this before or after you beat up the two guys who were actually in the video? If you think texting the video was a horrifying crime, surely your manhunt would begin with those two, right? Or do you actually think Washington deserved a more severe punishment than they received?

You bet those two would also be on my list, and they deserve a more severe punishment...but they aren't the topic of this thread, now are they.

Why do any of you engage with Nebraska_Reality. He's clearly a troll and will always respond to try to get the last word. He has no life and has no valid point. Just block the piece of shit
Pretty funny that your one post on this thread as of now is to call me a piece of shit to others.....and I'm supposedly the one that has no life.

It took all this to finally delete that child porn off probably multiple devices some 3 years after being told that child porn was illegal to possess.

I hope he does better from here on out.

When you say “probably multiple devices,” do you have some actual evidence of that or did you just think it made your red-hot take even more profound?

Because the average number of cellular phones a person goes through in America is 2 in 3 years. Usually when they stop working, but the next most reason for change is when the plan allows an upgrade.

So my use of "probably" is more accurate than "definately".

Wow I didn't know that you had definately [sic] had such rock-solid evidence that he kept it on multiple devices.

Aren't you the same blowharding goober who kept calling this a "rape video," but had no answer when asked why neither of the men in the video were ever accused of rape or charged with rape? But you just kept on gasbagging about the "rape video," because gosh it sure sounded cool, and trying to associate Washington with a violent crime made you feel like an internet tough guy.

If it were your daughter you might want to re-evaluate your parenting techniques that led to her getting gangbanged in the back of a car and filming it. Then you can go fight that division 1 football player. Then you can consider why your daughter isn't accountable for her actions - I'm sure that will serve her well later in life (more great parenting). Of course, you'll have plenty of time think all of this over while you're in prison for assault. I'm sure your angel of a daughter won't look for support in the backseat of another car while you're gone.

How do you think Apple backs up your photos, videos, contacts and messages when you get a new device?

He's only familiar with the phones they give away at Casey's General Store when you buy a slice of pizza and an RC Cola.
