Some highlights from the LJS story:

- The contract between Nebraska and Scott Frost was signed on Nov. 27

- contract ensures two-year contracts for all assistants, outlines bonus structures for conference and College Football Playoff success and confirms the contract length and assistant coach salary pools

- Base salary is $5 million per year through December 31, 2024

- In each season Frost can earn up to a $300,000 bonus for a conference championship and $650,000 for a national championship.

- Frost's 10 assistant coaches, head strength and conditioning coach and director of football operations earn bonuses of 15 percent for a conference title and 25 percent for a national title

- A breakdown of bonuses. The bonuses are not successive, meaning one bonus will be paid based on the highest level of achievement

- Win or tie for division title: Frost gets $100,000 staff gets 5% bonus

- Appear in conference championship game: Frost earns $200,000

- Win conference championship game: Frost earns $300,000, staff gets 15 percent bonus
Postseason bonus structure

- Non-College Football Playoff bowl appearance: Frost earns $150,000, staff 8.33% (one month's pay)

- New Year's Six Bowl appearance: Frost earns $250,000, staff 16.67% bonus

- CFP Semifinal appearance: Frost earns $300,000, staff 20% bonus

- National Title game appearance: Frost earns $350,000, staff 22.5% bonus

- Win National Title: Frost earns $650,000, staff 25% bonus
Under this structure, if Frost wins both a conference and national championship, he would earn $950,000 in bonus compensation and each staff member would earn an extra 40% above his annual salary

- The salary pool for the assistant coaches and the head strength and conditioning coach is $5 million

- Frost will be provided with up to 20 personal hours of private jet travel for he and his family to use
