Honestly, we win this series and things look a lot different. We still need to win the tourney to have a successful season, but right now I think the team needs some confidence they had earlier in the year.

Honestly, we win this series and things look a lot different. We still need to win the tourney to have a successful season, but right now I think the team needs some confidence they had earlier in the year.

I felt the last couple weeks was where we would have needed to gain confidence and gain a better approach at the plate and we just haven't done it. I hope you are correct but I can see a sweep by Maryland as more likely than us winning the series. I hope we can just steal one. A bright side is their pitching isn't great, but we tend to make average pitchers look like Cy Young award winners of late.

That was weird game. I feel like Nebraska outplayed Maryland, and not sure how Maryland won.

Off-topic, but what a drag that there are RPI-killers like Minnesota and Northwestern in the league. I pity teams that had to play both. After this series, the Terps host Minnesota. That makes it tough to build a high-level resume...
