Friday March 12th: Nebraska vs. Ohio State - Huskers win 10-4!

I have a work function so I will not be able to provide updates Friday or most likely the first game Saturday. If anyone wants to volunteer I’d appreciate it but if not I will update with highlights when I can. GBR!

We're home team all 4 games. Can't remember if this was discussed or not as I couldn't find the thread.

Yes it has.. D1baseball.com has at Ohio St which was why the confusion on my part..

I know I’m one that complains about B1G scheduling, but for the life of me with 13 teams why isn’t Nebraska hosting a pod and why schedule playing Ioway again after playing them twice the week before in a mod?

Technically we are hosting, but in Minnesota. Does any of it make sense? Nope

If the commissioner was worth his pay he would hop on BTN and explain some of these decisions. The lack of transparency gives fans carte blanche to call out b1G leadership.

I am grateful for Nebraska's leadership.

Update: After 8 full, Iowa leads OSU 4-0. OSU up, top of the 9th.

Game over, Iowa wins 4-0. PBP was straight painful. Also, football gridiron still painted on the field. Lots of chalk lines out there.

Povich gave up a 2nd inning solo shot but has been great otherwise.

Huskers scored 5 in the bottom of the 2nd (still going) highlighted by a 3-run jack from Max Anderson!

5-1 Good guys, bottom 2

Povich gave up a 2-run shot in the 5th, but has 10K's thru 5.

Huskers 1-2-3 in the bottom.

7-3 after 5

Povich works around a double, now has 12 Ks after the top of the 6th

Nice job by Povich. I thought I was going to see baseball but a card game broke out. Nice dealing.

Feekin gives up a HR off Hallmark's glove.

Nice catch by Acker on another:

10-4 Nebraska winner!

Good game by the Huskers!

I like the order of this lineup better than last week's.

I'm digging it after the way the Sports Nightly guys talked up OSU pitching last night. Hopefully Nebraska's bats are just that good 😆

I also like how Nebraska is running up pitch counts and our pitchers have been fairly efficient

I know some of the stations don't cover the early season games but I think 1400 am or 105.5 cover most.

One mistake by our Friday guy, but other than that, it's the outing we needed for week two. 12 K's, wow. Offense continues to swing it, these guys have no fear early in the season & it's fun to watch. Physically, we've got a group of dudes. I felt base running could've been a little better but hey, we scored 10!!

Enjoy it for a few hours, on to Saturday and Sunday!
