Huskers should welcome any and all football fans. All he said it’s wired and nothing like the Iowa -Iowa State rivalry because in Iowa they obviously don’t root for the opposite FB team like the Creighton fans do. How is he a fool? He spoke the 100 percent truth it’s a bizarre situation.
How did Fred not welcome them. So he should say boy I am glad they will rotting for Matt tomorrow even though they are rooting against me tonight?Huskers should welcome any and all football fans.
No, he shouldn’t even bring it up that would be best. It spurs on the talk from media and fans. That’s where the damage is done. A lot of people are about done supporting Husker football, they need all the donations they can get and risking alienating some supporters is dumb. How did Fred not welcome them. I don’t actually think a lot of people are about done supporting Nebraska football. Have seen zero signs of that outside a few strident types on this board. No, he shouldn’t even bring it up that would be best. It spurs on the talk from media and fans. I think you are overreacting. I didn’t hear one thing in that piece that would cause a Jaysker to stop giving to Husker football. No, he shouldn’t even bring it up that would be best. I know of some season ticket holders that have been close to not renewing the last couple of years. But they ended up doing so. Thing is they only go to 1 or 2 games a year. So the empty seats the last 2-3 years yes the seats are paid but it is a sign of declining interest. Trev knew that, and it’s why he had no problem planning to reduce stadium size with the upgrade.I don’t actually think a lot of people are about done supporting Nebraska football. Again, I said it spurs on media and fans. This thread is proof. Start paying attention here or be quiet.I think you are overreacting. I didn’t hear one thing in that piece that would cause a Jaysker to stop giving to Husker football.
No you said his comments could and probably would affect the Nebraska football program support. Carry on and have a eveningAgain, I said it spurs on media and fans. This thread is proof. Start paying attention here or be quiet.

Wait worry I have to use you can understand. You moronNo you said his comments could and probably would affect the Nebraska football program support. Carry on and have a evening
I’m sure you are partially right. I think the reduced interest in seats and for reducing stadium size has more to do with the landscape of in-person sports in general. A vast majority of sports fans would rather watch in 4k on their bigscreen with their feet up and a nice drink. Or party with friends, etc. This is true for other teams and leagues too. I haven’t lost any interest in Nebraska football, I’m just not interested in going to the stadium. Wouldn’t matter if they were 10-0.I know of some season ticket holders that have been close to not renewing the last couple of years. But they ended up doing so.
