Nebraska has been working to flip 2026 Orlando (Fla.) First Academy four-star safety Devin Jackson from Florida since defensive backs coach Addison Williams joined the staff. Jackson had been committed to the Gators since July but backed off that commitment on Thursday.

Nebraska had him on campus for Elite Junior Day back in February and got him back for a practice earlier this month. Huskers are now pushing to get him back for an official visit in June. Williams is also recruiting his teammate, three-star defensive back Danny Odem. Odem is locked in to officially visit June 20th, Huskers would like to get Jackson in for his OV that weekend too.

Update: Jackson tells me he’s scheduled his Nebraska OV for June 20th
