I really wanted to see the “triple tower” goal line package with Allen, Rafdal and Hickman.
Never took advantage of that one as far as I know.

Hence the recruiting focus over the last couple seasons.

Kurt Rafdal will like Boise. Cool town and nice school. Has pretty good weather. Stadium holds maybe 30,000 fans but it is nice. I could have easily moved there 5-10 years ago, but unfortunately Californians have discovered it. Too many moving in.

IU has a solid TE returning and not sure Purdue is a place one wants to go right now to with the state Jeff Brohm has the program right now.

You also can't teach hands or athletic ability which Rafdal does not possess.
