Former recruits....

I’m not living in the past but I have noticed now that 2 former WR recruits are facing some serious jail time..... we were all bummed we didn’t land these kids but in hindsight turned out OK! Jalen Hall could be facing a life sentence & Joseph Lewis has been arrested twice for domestic violence. Yikes, hope these young men can get their lives together, but thankful we don’t have to deal with it at Nebraska....

This unfortunately seems to happen a lot with recruits from LA. If they stick around the West Coast for college they don't get away from that life.

We have seen multiple kids at Nebraska and other colleges from that area who have said they would have probably been in Jail or worse if they had gone to a west coast school for college and even that sometimes isn't enough.

For example Ricky Thenarse came here and still ended up with a six year stint for B&E a few years ago but he said he'd have been dead by 25 if he had stayed out West.

Ricky’s case is so disappointing. That dude had a college game day story and all sorts of press coverage over how he overcame his circumstances and how well he was doing in Lincoln. He said all the right things and had insight into how lucky he was. Idk what happened after football for him, but so disappointed to hear he threw that all away. Hope he can get back on track.
