UCF coach Scott Frost is adding more star power to the Knights’ annual kickoff luncheon.
Former Nebraska coach Tom Osborne, one of Frost’s mentors, will be the featured speaker at the luncheon set for Aug. 18 at CFE Arena.
Single tickets cost $114 and corporate tables are available for $800, but the event usually sells out and limited spots remain available.
In addition to Osborne’s speech, Frost will introduce members of the Knights’ football team and preview the upcoming season.
UCF also is hosting a dinner featuring Osborne and Frost on Aug. 17 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando East-UCF. Tickets cost $150 per person and tables of 10 cost $1,500. Two VIP tables seating eight people with Frost or Osborne cost $2,500. All proceeds benefit the UCF Football Excellence Fund.
Frost is giving fans another behind-the-scenes opportunity by hosting the 2017 Rise and Conquer Fantasy Camps during the Knights’ preseason training camp.
Participants spend three days joining the team for player meetings, meals, coaches’ meetings and practices.
The campers also get pictures with the coaching staff, fitted in UCF equipment, instruction from the strength and conditioning staff, UCF football gear and a hotel room for two nights.
The camps run Aug. 6-8 and Aug. 10-12. The cost is $3,500 per person. Proceeds will help fund the Knights’ nutrition program during football training camp.
