Well he was one of my guesses the other day, i felt he was talked about as being a good cover corner and being up there for playing time early in the season but never got much or any playing time....i felt he may of considered moving on since Kula and Jones jumped on the depth chart, then you add Eric Lee, A Williams and possibly some recruits making him drop farther on the depth chart....hes said to be one of our best cover corners so he should be a good player for his new team, good luck Brotha....
When I saw someone say that the other day (might have been you) I thought, uh, that's crazy! No way it's him! Boy was I wrong...
Great parting message from him. His size was a drawback but I'm kind of wondering if he had some classroom issues this year.
Right and i agree and yes it was me who said him....but there wasn't any insider info, it was guess from looking at the roster and taking a guess who'd be unhappy about there place on the depth chart...again i knew he was catching love about coverage skills early on and then got passed up by other guys, maybe Lee was being looked at for next year as being above him...who knows, was a good GUESS on my part though.
This announcement was not a surprise guys, it was known before the team went to California.
It wasn't formally announced, but mentioned by a couple posters on here a few times.
It's a surprise to some of us. I don't think anyone is overreacting about his departure though.

I believe he was granted his release soon after the Iowa game.
He just did not fit the mold the staff liked to see in their DBs.
