Several Nebraska kids on both teams as well
Westside QB that won the state title two years ago is a backup QB for the Bison..

SDSU almost an undefeated season they had Iowa beat, just overthrew one wide open receiver. Oh well.
Now Ioway has something to brag about beating the FCS champions.👍🏼

Didn't get to watch the 2nd half except for the last 2 minutes. But man couldn't be happier for those kids....both programs ( I was recruited and had offers from both). Two high quality teams filled with players that were told they weren't good enough or worthy enough for a D1 offer. I'd say there's a few in there that will play at the next level in some degree.

Perhaps Iowa should drop down to FCS so they can start winning national championships.
Iowa is having the rings commemorating their 8-5 season with SDSU being their best win minted this week. There will also be a banner hung in the indoor practice facility soon.
@Pete Malloy , have your Cuckeyes already got the trophy ordered? Will it say 8-5 and we beat the FCS champs with a field goal and two safeties?😂

Good for him. Good way to retire. I thought it was pretty neat that he had his old coach that hired him on the sidelines that day
