Fans in the stands this Fall?

I think it happens. Joe and Kamie will fix this whole mess and get you a shot by April. Financially it has to doesn’t it? These athletic departments are broke without fans in the stands for the next athletic seasons.

well, douglas county has looser restrictions than lancaster, but this will likely fall on the NCAA to determine it regardless

It’s up to the conferences. Only the B1G & pac12 in P5 disallowed fans last year.

Daddy warren and the university presidents know what’s best for us and our communities. We should do what they say without question, and just thank the powers that be for allowing us to play football at all.

It's all good now

Joe said, "our darkest days in the battle against covid are ahead of us, not behind us."

According to Joe things will get worse than what they already have, but you think he'll somehow have it fixed by April? Joe doesn't even think that.

Hoping the vaccine is like the PlayStation 5. After the first release they update It and its much better.

The CWS doesn’t know. As a season ticket holder, we received an email a month ago that they were still deciding what to do. Usually our payments are due in early January. Haven’t heard anything since. A rough guess is it might be family only.

My guess is there WILL be fans, but there could be reduced capacity.

This may derail the thread, but, what if they said 100% allowed, but required a vaccine for attendance?

I don't want it at all BUT if I can get a single dose to be able to go to a stadium to see us play. Give me the needle.

There won't be any full stadiums for years. Maybe forever. Covid-19 isn't going to disappear even with vaccines.

And even when the numbers dwindle down, so many people will be afraid of the next strain or the next virus.

Plus he's hiring all of the fear porn people to run policy.

Which ones? The ones afraid of thin pieces of cloth, or people coming for your guns, or the ones who claim to have been fighting socialism for the better part of a century or the ones who are going to force you to convert to Islam?

The crowd who calls people snowflakes and calls out people who “live in fear” sure seem to be scared and living in a lot of fear themselves.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been shown to produce a fantastic immune response. Protective antibodies for Covid survivors are likely long lasting. As more folks are vaccinated (and the Covid recovered should defer offered vaccination unless they are old), case numbers could drop if the vaccines are combined with mask wearing and hand washing.

The ones who have no solutions other than harder lockdowns/restrictions. The ones who have no ability to read simple charts showing all NPIs, no matter how strongly enforced, have had virtually zero impact. It's why Biden uses terms like dark winter and why we'll now hear about the "new strain" - language used to keep the fear going from a disease with a 99.99 percent survival rate for most of the country.

Totally weird that the usual suspects went full ruhtard in this thread too.

They truly cannot help themselves.

This thing is going to fade in to oblivion within the next 4 months. As weather warms and more people get vaccinated, this thing will ebb to levels where everything will be opened wide open. Joe's going to HAVE to open things up to try to the interest payments on the debt for these f'n stimulus payments. Forget paying on the principle. We're going to struggle to pay the interest.

Oh hell he’ll just pay the mint workers overtime just print more money

When you say "print more money" what that really means is "issue more bonds" which in turn have to be sold to someone. Right now the largest holders of U.S. debt are the Chinese.....
