My sister who worked with Milt Tenopir's wife Terry in Lincoln was able to meet up with them in Vegas where my sister now lives. I met him in 2011 when my mom was in the hospital. We would meet them at Brewsky's on 70th and have food and drinks with him and his wife. So anyways my sister surprised me last night with a facetime with Milt. He was in good spirits and the first thing he told me was to shave! LOL. He asked me who my famliy member was that currently plays on the o-line and we talked about that for a bit. Then we talked about Cav and the other coaches. He said he really loves the new staff and Cav especially. Cav went to see Milt 30 some years ago in Boston at a coaches clinic and Cav said he will never forget that. Milt said he probably didn't recognize him because Cav had hair back then! LOL. Milt said Cav was his little buddy. He also said I should have a beer with Cav cause he knows how to put em down. All in all it was pretty cool to get to talk with him one on one for a bit.
