Obviously, we've known that Bob Elliott has been the leading candidate for the safety's job at Nebraska for this past week, but I'm hearing we should receive an official word on his hire possibly as soon as this afternoon.
It remains to be seen if he will be strictly the safety's coach or if he would carry an additional title or have additional responsibilities as well.
I'm also hearing Arizona State graduate assistant Drew Seumalo will be joining the program although I'm unclear as to what his exact role will be at this time. Seumalo played at Oregon State under Coach Riley and also for his father who was the defensive line coach at Oregon State.
