Fans complain about NIL and the portal all the time but remember the situation came about largely because of lawsuits and court rulings. Here's a temporary new ruling/restraining order that now allows multi transfer players to be immediately eligible to play no matter how many times they've preivously transferred.

Coaches will pick players like it's recess.
Yes, the big issue is wealthy teams are going to cherry pick if they see a player on another team they like. They can covertly offer that player a big NIL deal to come and immediately play for them. Now they can do that now but players that have transferred before no longer have to sit for a year so it expands the pool to include everyone,
 
Holy cow… this is exactly the opposite of what’s needed. It’s gonna be an absolute free-for-all. Untenable.

Ruling is not working out well for Creighton tonight. A transfer who got a hall pass from the judge is helping UNLV take them to the woodshed.
