Used to love that show, but got tired of Mike Lupica squealing over the top of everyone else. Stopped watching many years ago, but it was good back in the day.
I stopped watching when Dick Schaap passed away.
I used to enjoy the show as well, but one thing I got tired of was the reporters always evaluating to what degree each story was good or bad. I never cared for their "wouldn't it be great if" conversations. Not sure if I'm explaining this well enough, but basically I wanted sports talk and didn't care how good a story something was.Used to love that show, but got tired of Mike Lupica squealing over the top of everyone else. Yeah the show became less and less about what was happening in sports that weekend, and more about issues these guys just seemed to be dying to talk about. While I liked John Saunders well enough as a host, he didn't keep the panel on track as well as Schaap did. And I couldn't even stomach Lupica as a panelist, so there was no way I would ever watch it with him hosting.I used to enjoy the show as well, but one thing I got tired of was the reporters always evaluating to what degree each story was good or bad. Worse "reporter":
Bill Rhoden or Jason Whitlock?
