Erin Sorensen, who writes for Hail Varsity was in a pretty serious car accident last night (struck by a drunk driver).

Though she writes for a different site, she's Husker family. So thoughts and prayers out to her and the passengers.

I'm so glad we still have so many good people, like Dennis Wilson, who will put themselves in harms way to help others. Could've been much worse if not for him and the unnamed others.

Drunk, 7:14 pm, and flying on 52nd Street in a 30 mph zone, and his vehicle slides a block post impact. You take this exact situation and put it in a secluded location, would have been even more tragic. Thank goodness he and the others reacted.
