As most of you know. I am Vet.
What most of you don't know is I am also terribly troubled from my time overseas. I am one of the lucky ones however that has not reached the end of his rope.
That cannot be said for many Veterans.
A week ago the 16th Vet I served with took his own life by downing a bottle full of mixed drugs. He was found layed out in his room with a note and in his Blues.
I also recently had a major life change due in part to the issues I go thru on a minute to minute basis so because of all of this and all the previous funerals I have had to attend I said enough was enough.
I am trying to get a Start Up on its feet that will employ Veterans of any Generation, give them the resources to find help, go to School, look for affordable housing and overall get their life on track so we can stop putting our Nations Veterans in the ground well before their time.
As I said before, if this place doesn't allow solicitation just axe the thread and I'll go elsewhere.
This isn't going to be an overnight thing anyways so a set back here and there is expected and to be perfectly frank, nothing new.
