what's striking to me is texas is paying a bench quarterback 3x what we are paying our starters. thus, texas can simply buy championships going forward if it's all about money only. of course, texas has long dominated recruiting rankings without showing much on the championship scene.Ohio State is paying two QBs more than we are paying Raiola?
No this isn’t a list of QBs only.
They won a national championship and the QB wasn’t the reason. You have to play your best players . And Raiola has an Adidas Contract he is making plenty. That's even more crazy then, that they are paying two non-QBs more than we are paying Raiola.
who's the chick at the bottom right?inspiring confidence - how about this?

Isn’t he 18th?Wait, I was told we were paying plenty for all our starters so we aren't in danger of any of them being poached by another school and if they did, they'd just be overpaying. Did I get that rignt, @V-Doub? If our best player isn't even in the top 25, I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Too slow, as usualDR is 18th
not if it's individual successjudging success based on an nil list ranking is pretty weird.
generally, one cannot have individual success in collegiate football without team success. otherwise, will howard would have won the heisman. paul hornung may have been the exception to the rule. but that's what notre dame fame yields.not if it's individual success
I’d like to think it’s a good sign that they’re spending time together and enjoying themselves. It is winter in Nebraska, after all. These are two guys I hope light up the scoreboard next season—if they do, they can celebrate like this as much as they want!

Yup, they were at the bball game together the other night too. point taken. it's like saying recruiting rankings and 5-star athletes don't matter. that's fine until one looks at championship rosters. You completely missed my point. Like you couldn’t have misunderstood what I was saying any more than what you did. My point was everyone is already overpaying for their players, because it’s fvcking ridiculous that we’re paying 19 year olds 7 figures to play college ball. Hence if everyone is already overpaying, what does mean to schools who have more to overpay even more, nothing. If they have the NIL resources what do they care? It isn’t their money, if the kid wants 3 mil to come here and your NIL collective is willing, fvck it, sign him up. My point was schools like OSU don’t look at it like they’re overpaying (even if in reality they are), they don’t care. They want win, it isn’t their money, so fvck it… game on.
Your them makes $1.8M? Takeaway the Clinique endorsement $’s and you are looking $250k for your guy (they).inspiring confidence - how about this?

It neither does nor doesn't inspire confidence (I assume you're referring to confidence in their ability to play football). But it sure is something to consider when fans blast these kids for having the audacity to lose football games at times. A bunch of goofy college kids playing a game, and way too often it is considered a life and death proposition by purported adults who cheer on the teams the kids play for.

I'll disagree and leave it at thatThis argument went out the window when NIL came about. No longer just "a bunch of goofy college kids playing a game." Now adults getting paid a whole lot of money to do a job.
I'll disagree and leave it at that
did you mean "posts"? and i always punctuate properly. perhaps you should look up the word "ironic"?Pot meet kettle. Your nonstop nonsense post without caps or punctuations. Hilariously ironic post.
It is out of control. There have been a few good effects. The SEC schools have lost their edge because the under the table money is now out in the open and legal. What isn’t out in the open is the side arrangements. For example, I think Dylan sister works for the university right? Dad’s uncle works for the university. You completely missed my point. Since details of all of those deals aren't public I doubt this list is remotely accurate.inspiring confidence - how about this?

Yes when it’s non football based and involving something legal that every peer their age does.So you think these legal adults (18+), getting paid hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions of dollars, to play a game, should all be isolated from fan criticism?

Sometimes it takes adults to tell certain adults to knock it off.
