I do. Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers, and maybe a "surprise game" victory (i.e. Mich St. and/or Iowa). If and I mean IF NU can stop hurting themselves with silly unforced mental errors that add up to a ton of penalties and lead to drive killers, Nebraska can get over the hump and start winning games. Also, Tommy A. needs to make better decisions throwing the ball. Amazing he did not throw a pick yesterday. Some of those passes were thrown up for grabs.

We laid a turd in the middle of Tom Osborne field Saturday - and still had a chance to win. I think 4 wins is possible, but 4-8 the mostly likely finish (but how injuries play out will be a part - both for our D and other teams we will face).

If we beat Minnesota next Saturday we have a shot... But we needed yesterday win over the Badgers in a worse way would have really helped the psyche on the team finally winning a close game.

At this point I'd say 40% chance of 4 more wins. Got to get organized.

Riley will likely get out coached by Kill and Fitzgerald, so we probably lose those two games. Purdue and Rutgers are toss ups and maybe we get an upset over Iowa or MSU. I see a likely total of 4 wins at the end of the year. The other question is if the players have already packed it in, or if they will in the next few weeks?

Four more wins is certainly possible, so yes, I can see us winning 4+ more games. I can also see us only winning 1-2 more games. Depends on whether or not the players have enough energy to keep fighting after four heartbreaking losses.

4 wins, if we catch a break or 2 maybe 5 wins. Based on how we have played i don't see how we get to 6 wins. We just don't seem to be getting much better.

I wish but I don`t see it. Very few things have gone our way this season.

if our offense ever got an identity maybe. besides panic when the game is on the line.

I think the entire message board has been saying this for the last 6 games, but you think it's going to happen now?

This. A win over a team that has kicked the crap out of us the last couple of times could have boosted this teams confidence

50/50. Ball will bounce our way in the 2nd half of the season. We will beat Mich St or Iowa.

I don't know if we will get there or not, but this team really needs to get Bowl eligible. More practices, something to build off of, etc.

The mindset of the players is probably what mattes most in what happens. If they kids stay hungry and want to win and go bowling, then maybe they find four wins. But like others, I say no more than two.

I see 3-9 or 4-8.

We're going to need a lot of things to happen for four more wins. Is it out of the picture? No, but I won't stop hoping for best case scenario.

This team is going to struggle until T. Armstrong figures it out. He's hasn't been even close to accurate enough for this offense to work.

I think Purdue is winnable, Minnesota has me a bit more worried, especially since I believe our team was better the past two years and we lost to them. The Spartans and the Hawkeyes are the two toughest opponents left, though NW could very well be there with them. I think NW lost a lot of steam and confidence this week.

It's possible, it's all up to how this team and staff respond to all of this.

I don't see Nebraska suddenly getting good any time soon. 4 of the next 6 teams are playing better than UNL. Of the remaining 6, MSU has overall better talent, while the others are no greater, even at best. That would bode well in most cases, but until Nebraska stops making the mistakes that cost them in their 4 losses, lesser teams such as Purdue and Rutgers could easily hand them a loss if things don't improve. I certainly think the Huskers will have a chance to win 4 more games, but it will have to be the best 4 efforts of the year to get them.

7-5, 6-6, 5-7, 4-8. Why would we expect anything other than 4-8 from this coach.

Nope.

People need to swallow the pride, admit you were wrong, open the checkbook and go get the coach. Florida did it. Michigan did it. Ohio State did it. Notre Dame did it.

It’s time Nebraska does it, and it’s time you dropped the exhausting charade that is throwing every fiber of your being behind a losing football coach in the name of not having to admit that you are wrong.

Like Nebraska, Iowa is getting decimated with injuries... Maybe not to the extent of Nebraska but right now key injuries are starting to pile up. I think the Iowa game could come down to who ever has the healthiest team at the end of the season IMO!

You guys look good so far. Sorry to hear about Ott.
Doing an MRI tomorrow on his knee... Hopefully not out for the season. The guy sure is a tough SOB...;) If its a season ending, maybe he could get a medical redshirt...not sure on that though...

As was mentioned before Iowa/Nebraska will come down to who is healthier. Iowa has Ott out, two starting o-linemen, one of our top running backs, top wide receiver, and our #1 tight end who has yet to play this year.

I like you optimism. Minn and especially Northwestern are better teams that Illinois and Wisc. Not a chance we win those. I will give you purdue and Rutgers although don't be shocked if we lose
