Depth Chart for Saturday

I think Neyor should be benched in favor of Lloyd or Coleman. And Fidone should be benched for Boerkircher. Also should try out Charles in place of Hartzog, Charles got burned a lot against UCLA but you can’t keep trotting out Hartzog.
They both play a lot. Benning is a Hartzog fan and I get that he plays hard. His size just is a handicap.

Coleman? Llyod sure, that kid has speed to burn and seems to make plays when given a chance.

I also don't get swapping Buford and Hrtzog at CB and Safety. Neither are good CB's, but Hartzog seems to struggle even more.

But we all know these depth charts mean little and have hardly changed. Look at the OL, Mazz is clearly the next guy up at LT, but isn't even listed.

Buford is back at his natural position as I said, as he never played Corner until he got here and was a 4* Safety recruit out of HS

They are both better at Sefty than CB. But Hartzog is a liability at CB, which had to be why they switched them early in the season. I wish we had someone step up at CB (Blye Hill?), so they could both rotate in at Safety.

Agreed I have not been impressed with Neyor. Lloyd/Coleman would be ideal. Lloyd took the top off of Iowa's defense last year.

Maybe Coleman could be brought in for a 50/50 ball or two. From the little we saw last year he seems more physical than Neyor and Banks.

Tommi Hill or Ceyair Wright.....are you ****in kidding me?
Tommi Hill is flat out not healthy and a liability. I don't know how they do not see it. He has cost us touchdowns in multiple games because he won't take himself out and the coaches just won't accept it.

The guy is fine until one cut or jump aggravates the injury and then he is a lame duck. Unfortunately that one cut or jump doesn't usually happen until he is being targeted and then he's just flat done for the rest of the game. Multiples times I have seen him come up hobbled, keep himself in the game, and then have a big play or TD scored on him almost the very next play.

Plus he turns down tackles.

Very doubtful that is because of injury though.
