Know thyself. That's what Deion needs to understand. Deion needs to stay in the south where he is in close proximity to loads of HS talent. South Florida would be a perfect fit. Colorado (or Nebraska for that matter) would not be. I'm not saying that Deion couldn't win at CU, but it would be more difficult.
Deion is given a long leash at JSU because he brings in $$$ and PR etc that benefits JSU and the City. He does his own PR thing; most schools won't allow that. He pushes his faith with players; many schools won't tolerate that. He mixes his personal business with JSU business...a lot of schools won't tolerate that.I could see his ego clashing with Trev’s, admittedly.
I love what Deion is doing. But his MO will conflict with a lot of administrations....and I dont see Deion changing. Sadly, I dont think JSU has the $$$ to pay the assts more to keep Deion there. And Deion has been clear that his assts need paid more for him to stay.
