Look at the recruiting profiles of UCFs D starters. Not scrubs, but def lightly regarded. These UCF kids have responded to good coaching.

At the start of November UCF was 33rd in total defense and 25th in scoring defense. They fell apart in their last few games for some reason but have come back around.
