Freedom's pass rushing technique is mediocre at best. Even though it was the first game, he wasn't very impressive and didn't look to have the speed coming off the edge. I think King showed some good things Saturday. Speed off the edge seems to be the missing piece on this defensive line. Freedom just looks awkward at times.
Dzuris had a solid game against Frenso St. I thought he played well and he certainly played hard. I'm not sure he's much of a threat to rush the QB either.
We have very good linebackers at each position. Will help the DL a good amount. It's going to take an emergence from somebody on this defensive line to get to 9+ wins.
