Riley or no Riley (Louisiana Husker 99.94252057% chance he's gone at this point), I think we can all agree Crazy Uncle Bob won't be calling the defensive shots next year. Who's on your wish list, or who do you realistically see getting the gig?

With Pat Narduzzi at 4-6, and likely finishing 4-8 at Pitt this year, I wouldn't hate for him to be back on the market as a DC after this season. He knows the B1G and had Michigan State as a defensive threat for most of his tenure. If Frost comes home, I think seeing a Narduzzi defense back in the B1G with the potential thermite offense Frost would install would be a dangerous combo.

Also if Frost comes back to Lincoln, I know Erik Chinander is a strong consideration, though, as rkay once said, I would hope Frost would surround himself with a more seasoned DC if he gets the gig.

The others I can think of is if Mullen gets the job, Todd Grantham could be a candidate.

Otherwise John Heacock could see some time if Matt Campbell becomes coach. I would personally hope Frost and Campbell would consider their resources and see what's available when it comes to choosing their crew. Upgrades might be available going from ISU and UCF to Nebraska.

What say you?
