How do we see this finishing out?
Visiting Howard Griffith's son, but I thought we were mostly in need of safeties.

Well I know you are just throwing that out there; but surely you have nailed it in some form. They seem to have lists of physical attributes they follow; even will go for tall corners instead of safety position for a player if there are other attributes ( good hips etc ) that warrant it. Can adapt to what occurs when they get here, if at high talent levels - they sure seem to find speed, jumping and such, early in potential recruits.Interesting huh? Maybe they are just going to recruit DBs and put them where they can play. Kalu played safety in HS but was brought in to play CB. Who knows?
Great points. Win that turnover game. The new Minnesota coach has made a career out of it according to one article. My other thoughts are that they have guys on the current roster that can play safety if needed. I think Diaco and Elliott put a greater emphasis on their safeties being solid tacklers rather than guys who bring the wood but aren't sure tacklers.
I agree with you on the physical attributes they appear to covet. But I also think they want safeties that can fall back into a zone and ballhawk.
