Davie

Not a bash post, just curious if he played in 2nd half?

As is the way about everything in life, perception is everything. If the perception is that that is the weakness, than that perception is going to be continued to be tested until it is proven wrong. It wasn't and they kept throwing at him. When he was replaced it wasn't like the replacement was better, they just didn't throw as often that way.

So you're saying the fact the moment he went out Miami stopped going up and down the field at will and it had nothing to do with David being gone.

I'm glad you are so wise as to break this down for the masses.

How many times did they test the right cb after Davie went out?

He's just not very good. No other way to put it. Never has been. I'm sure he tries his best, but sometimes it's just not enough. Good luck to the kid after his football career is over in a few months.

Good heavens guys. Give it a rest. The kid has made plays in the past to help us win games. He's struggling right now and feels terrible about it. Grow a set and quit acting like a bunch of vulturous teenage girls.

Hopefully his football career is over now, except for spot duty in a blowout win.

I'm drunk, so I'm not going to chart the whole game, but Davie was only in for the first two defensive series. (I think he was in for the total of those series, but I'm not sure. But, he was out after that) That was a total of NINE plays. Of those 9 plays, 6 were passes and 4 were targeted at Davie. The other two were touchdown passes on Cockrell and Kalu. After those two series I think they threw on Davie's replacement (Kalu or Jones) once in the first quarter. Chart the rest of the game and see if it comes anywhere close the 4 out of 9 plays or 4 out of 6 pass plays.

who knows. maybe he can contribute somewhere else.
one thing is for certain, Right Now? its bad... real bad...
