He's struggling because he's already thinking about his next coaching location/school. Same thing happened last yr. when Lincoln Riley struggled at OU, everyone wondered why, and then found out after the season that he had been planning to leave for USC for some time

There’s some truth in the problems a distracted coach causes. We saw it displayed twice during Bo’s tenure. Before one of the bowl games we got blown out in he had told his assistants that they were moving to Baton Rouge.

if Bush can turn around this defense, why wouldn’t you consider him for D coordinator? Next head coach will not be a coordinator. That is a thing of the past here, IMO.

He didn’t get off to a good start in the Purdue game. McDonald’s was happy though that we didn’t get any sacks so they didn’t have to give free Big Macs
