Don't be alarmed. Nothing new on Holmes' recruitment or possible commitment. I just find it interesting that the tweets by him and his girlfriend seem to be intensifying with lots of language about their future and what is clearly a strong bond between them.
She may be a track athlete and if she chooses a spot, I wouldn't be surprised if he considers it too. Wherever she goes, if it happens to be in California, I'd guess he would opt for UCLA or Stanford to stay close to home.
I may be reading way to much into high school love, but his recruitment has certainly changed its trajectory over the past several months and maybe it's as simple as that and not a commentary on the Huskers or anyone else. If he moves 2,000 miles away from her to go to school, well then, never mind.
