Most are overpaid, through 4 games Joe Burrow doesn’t look like the highest paid player in NFL history.
Brian Daboll is supposed to be the quarterback whisperer. Perhaps Daniel Jones is hard of hearing?
Are you mentioning those two in the same sentence? As in they have anything in common on any level?
I am making a general statement as athletes. No Jones isn’t on tje same level as JB . Just saying people get the contract they want they get complacent.
Burrow has an awful O line and his calf injury has affected his delivery and mobility. He’s a stud. I like Jones’ physical skill set but he’s making too many mistakes.
This game goes to show that it doesn't matter how good your coach is or how great your athletes are. If you don't have a good OL, it doesn't matter. 11 sacks on the night is embarrassing. This is how you go from coach of the year to getting the #1 overall pick the next year.
the giants O line sucks because they are missing key people... we can relate to a bad O line and what that does for your team, plus only 2 years are guaranteed they will cut him after next year but there isn't a lot of options for NFL quarterbacks.
Not sure what it is about this guy that people see that I don't...to date he's averaging 190 yards a game thru the air in their 4 games.....and there is still a large Jones fan club that believes he can play QB. Weird. But entertaining.
And he has an NFL arm. Thus far he hasn’t shown the decision making he needs. I expect he’ll stay in the NFL for a long time. His arm talent and mobility is always going to make a gm and head coach think they can fix him. The Giant’s organization is a mess.
