How could he do that? An NFL QB never does that. The guy was open and he threw it over his head.

So he is human.

His problem is he is worried about throwing to Dez.

That is the only thing that stops this offense.

my point was the criticism of Lee for throwing high a couple of times. Prescott I think was throwing over his OL engaged with a DT. Lee at times was trying to do a similar thing when he had passes sail on him. It happens.

You're funny. "a couple of times" lmao

2016 Regular Season 311 459 3,667 67.8% 23TD 4INT

Let me know when Lee gets close to this.

A couple of times he threw high usually with a rusher in his face. A few times he purposely threw it away because there was nothing there. At least once I think we had a WR run an incorrect route. Not once have I claimed that Lee had a great day. Not once have I posted that I thought he was going to be a first round draft pick but your constant bashing of the kid is uncalled for. I seem to recall Scott Frost laying a GIANT egg in his first hostile road environment and I would say that his career turned out okay for NU don't you think.

Just Suhnami being Suhnami. If you post anything positive about these coaches or players, he'll come after you. Sad really, that he has devolved to these kinds of posts... but I guess he does it to get a rise out of guys like me...

Our new lead troll it seems on Husker football. He's correct that the Lee's completion percentage hasn't been great YET but I don't get the point of pounding that. He'll either get better or he won't . I suspect he will.

Wow. Hope you didn't have to look too far in the crystal ball to come up with that hot take.

Not going for "hot takes". You act as though you repeatedly posting a 47% completion rate with 4 picks isn't very good is a "hot take". Well duh.

I don't think Lee is in Prescott's league yet (literally or figuratively). Well sure even pros sail the ball at times. But there was a lot of talk about Lee having pro talent, and so far it has only looked like college talent. Overthrows are just part of it. Maybe he'll show better later on, let's hope so.

All the hype was based on potential and mechanics. He looked the part. I still think he has pro level talent. The question is does he have a pro level mind? Guess we'll find out.

I hate to get in the middle of a good fight but a high fastball in baseball can yield strikeouts. A high fastball in football yields INTs -- and most of Lee's throws were high. I'm sure the coaches will work with him to improve and that better be a point of emphasis.
