D1baseball released its latest NCAA Tournament projections and this week, Nebraska is back in the field of 64.

The Huskers will find a familiar foe according to the national outlet’s projections. Nebraska is projected to play in the Corvallis (Ore.) regional where Oregon State, the No. 1 team in the tournament, would play host. Nebraska is projected as the No. 3 seed in that regional, with former Big 12 foe Baylor as the No. 2 seed and Fairfield as the No. 4 seed.

Nebraska has already played Oregon State twice this season, dropping both games in Surprise, Arizona, in February. The Huskers dropped the first game 10-1, and then fell 5-2 to the Beavers.

The Huskers topped in-state foe UNO on Tuesday night in Lincoln, and head to Ohio State this weekend for a three-game series against the Buckeyes.

Nebraska enters the weekend No. 41 in d1baseball’s RPI.
