What Happened:
Lost two of three at home to Iowa

Why it Hurts: The Big Red got a dose of their own medicine. After sending Indiana and Maryland to the Ouch List the last two weeks, it seems only fair that the baseball gods would even things out with the Big Red. And here they are. I have been saying since I saw them in Vikings Stadium back in the first weekend in March that the Hawkeyes are a good team that could make a lot of noise come late May and maybe even early June. Right now, with this series win in Lincoln, I think they are proving it. Today, the Cornhuskers had to score three runs in their final at-bat to avoid the sweep thanks to freshman Mojo Hagge, who ripped a two-run triple to provide the game-winning runs. And yes, his name really is Mojo.

Even as good as Iowa has looked at times this year, they've got a long ways to go to be in contention for an at-large bid. The 2 losses to Northwestern were probably killers from an RPI standpoint. Their overall SOS isn't helping either-148th.

Is Mojo actually his name or is that a long time nickname. Ive never checked his bio but a lady we were sitting by Saturday night kept calling him Morris.

His name is Morris John Hagge, Jr.-he goes by Mojo as a nickname, which is pretty clever because it combines the first two letters of his first and middle names.
