Cubs or indians

I became a stupid Cubs fan in 1984 when they were killing it and on WGN every afternoon when I got home from school. I believe the ghost of Ron Santo and Ernie Banks will drive home the victory tomorrow night. Go Cubs go!

I think pitching favors the indians. I'm hoping Kluber and Miller are running out of gas. I think its a close game and goes extra innings.

Kluber now on short rest for the second time this series. The last pitcher to win 3 games in the World Series (I believe) was 1968. Of course, long stretches are basically non-issues as both teams are already overcoming odds - but I do think the way the Cubs bats are swinging, if Kluber is less than sharp, it gives them a really nice shot to come back from down 3-1 winning the last two on the road.

The only wild card was pitching Chapman in the 7th inning which may leave him without some of his heat if he's needed in a close game.

This one could go extras and come down to whomever is deepest with their bullpen. And it's worth noting that Maddon has basically told his bullpen that he has little confidence in them outside of Chapman and Montgomery. Not necessarily a pep talk you want to hear from your manager.
