I imagine he could, but that doesn't really solve this particular problem as McQuitty wasn't playing slot.Could Mazour play in the slot?
Asking cause of the muscle pulls to Williams and JD, but I guess I am not sure who is actually playing slot. At present, we have Stan, Reimers, DPE, Tyjon, possibly Rahn and and Young. Essentially four guys who would be considered front line players until the JD and Kenyan get healed up.I imagine he could, but that doesn't really solve this particular problem as McQuitty wasn't playing slot.
This will likely cement Tyjon playing as a true freshman on the outside.
I was NOT impressed with the reserve WRs in the spring game.
Any questions on why they need so many WR this cycle?
And we are barely into fall practice. This is terrible. We were already razor thin at WR. Looks like we better find some walk-ons that can catch the ball.
Last year's class seems to be cursed......Keyshawn, Blades and now McQ.
You underestimate NU fans. They will bitch if this staff looks at A receiver, if they look at multiple faces melt off.I imagine he could, but that doesn't really solve this particular problem as McQuitty wasn't playing slot.

I don't think a shorter guy is out of the question on the outside either. Williams or Langsdorf (don't remember which) said that in our offense height is nice but not a necessity to play on the outside. Speed is more important than size. Thank God for walk ons and we have some nice ones at WR.Asking cause of the muscle pulls to Williams and JD, but I guess I am not sure who is actually playing slot. Spielman and Williams were the slot guys, I think Rahn is the next up, but I'm not positive.Asking cause of the muscle pulls to Williams and JD, but I guess I am not sure who is actually playing slot. Yep looks like we're going to be playing a lot of 22 and 21 personnel this yearThank Neptune Riley actually has developed some depth at TE. We're going to need them even more so for sure if we are short on receivers. Hope for speedy recovery for JD and Keyan, I think they are both going to have a good season individually.
I was wondering when the haters would re-figure Wisconsins class for whatever year that kid was in.Does this affect last years class ranking?![]()
