For the record, I wasn't in favor of the House impeaching Trump. But, they did exactly that. Saying otherwise does nothing more than prove that you have the IQ of a house plant.

Based on what I read? Yes, the charges seem quite legitimate (for Clinton and Trump).

With that said, both were pointless trials as neither party in either trial had anywhere close to enough of a majority to remove a President.

Much like Clinton wasn’t impeached for his relationship (it was his lying to a grand jury followed by obstruction of justice), Trump wasn’t impeached for “Russia”, he was impeached for alleged abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
