One of my best friends works for the athletic dept at WDM Valley and this is what he told me:
John R showed up for off-season workouts just to watch since he just got his tonsils out (pretty cool that he still shows up to non-mandatory workouts just to be there with the guys)
He is about 6'4" 270 right now and one of the coaches told my friend he squatted 500 lbs right before school was out for the summer
That same coach told my friend they flat out love coaching him because he is nasty and wants to hurt people when he blocks them (not in a dirty way he added)
He said it looks like they may move him in at center for his senior year because that is where the coaches at NU project him at. TIFWIW
