Congrats T. Lue

I was at the Rangers game tonight. What did they do differently?
No K. Love helped the defense. Effort was huge. Kyrie started hot. Lebron actually a bit sloppy, but intense and dominated late. Steph a non factor again.

They hit several shots that seemed to stop any momentum the Warriors were gaining. Instead of the Warriors hitting two or three 3 pointers in a row without scoring a bucket themselves, the Cavs would come down and hit a three to stop any chance of a run.

newAD made claims of improved D. Was it just making their shots or was there a change in how they defended the Warriors? I get that Love was out and that changed the dynamics.

I think the X-Factor was J.R. Smith. His extra offense to add on to LeBron and Kyrie's play was huge. Cavs are 0-4 when they score under 100 points in this year's playoffs. They put up 120 and got the win. On the similar note, the Cavs D was great on Klay and Steph tonight too. Even though I'm pulling for the Warriors, I'm glad it isn't 3-0 because that would just be boring. I hope this series goes to Game 7.

Both. Warriors not shooting well also helped the Cavaliers cause. They looked flat at the beginning as well. The were down 20 then cut it to 7 and once it got up to 12-14 it stayed in that range for quite awhile. The flood gates eventually opened and the Cavs ended up winning by 30. That's how I saw it anyway.

Main thing was being at home and it being an absolute must win. The Warriors lost game 3 in every other series this playoffs, when they need to be great they have been, but it's kind of interesting that they went balls to the wall all regular season but have seemed to let up on the gas during the playoffs a bit. JR was huge and not playing love helped them a lot defensively, he just cannot switch or really guard Draymond either. Hopefully game 4 will give us a close one.

K.I. was the man early. He helped get Curry in foul trouble. Then Thompson went out after a collision and a knee into his thigh. The D on the perimeter was physical and allowed. Warriors just weren't hitting as well as they did at home, and the supporting cast couldn't make up for Curry and Thompson not being at least average.

I'd like to see the Cavs pull this out, but to do so, I think they have to win 3 more in a row. That means game 5 in Oakland. Game 7? Forget about it.

Very hard to imagine a team that won 73 of 82 and didn't lose consecutive games until games 3 and 4 last series losing 4 out of 5. I understand the 82 games were almost all against teams worse than the cavs but I don't see it.

Serious marbles by LeBron and Irving tonight. Yes Green was out, but Irving and Love were out most of the finals last year, so cry me a river. Good luck in game 6 at home. Pull that off and all the pressure is on GS in 7.
