Congrats Iowa State: First Ever 10 Win Season

Congrats to them! They are living the best times ever while we have the 1900’s to look back at. Matt Campbell has shown coaching matters. Jamie Pollard and the University have demonstrated how to get an excellent ROI with limited resources.

Meanwhile, their mentally challenged neighbors to the west have dolled out tens of millions of dollars to win 3 conference games a year since Campbell was hired.

Doled.

You can be happy for other teams and programs while not shitting all over your own you know.

Iowa State has had a great season. I am genuinely happy for them and their fans.

At the same time I can be unhappy about my beloved Huskers, and yearning for them to get better.

You don't have to live in a box. There is shit outside of it you can enjoy.

And not all seasons have been great under Campbell. He could have left but decided to stay. The AD could have let him go but decided to let him build. Their fanbase is different than ours. Perspective!

I have had the pleasure of working with some Iowa State fans. I can call some of them very good friends.

I have yet to meet an Iowa fan that isn't a slobbering asshat.

Good for them. Could have had that loser for 3 mil less.
In our short sided booster driven coaching searches we discounted Campbell because he had a bad year the fall we hired Rhule😕 that said, he lost some games he probably shouldn’t have this year.

Two years ago Campbell was on the hot seat he wasn’t a viable option, try again chucku
He wasn’t a viable option because of the boosters and people like me. He’s a damned good coach who didn’t have a good starting QB that year. 😕

How were they to beat a great Kansas State team and their Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback?

I mean I have been down on Rhule as much as anyone. But you do realize how long it took Campbell to get to 10 wins right? Especially when you are talking about ROI? Campbell would not have lasted near long enough here to achieve that with the patience we are showing.
