Seems we're learning a bit about conference strength from the bowl games so far. Of course, I'm not saying this is the end-all ruling as matchups, injuries, etc. are all important factors. Here's what I have dug up so far:

Pac 12: 5-2
B1G: 3-1
SEC: 3-1
CUSA: 3-2
Big 12: 1-1
ACC: 3-4
By Winning %, the B1G and SEC are leading the way with the Pac 12 racking up the most wins so far with 5.

The ACC is currently below .500 and looks to have another loss in FSU. I wonder how telling this is for Clemson.

Pac 12 has crappy bowl line up. After the Rose, the Alamo and Holiday are their biggest bowl games after that you would have to go with the Cactus and Fosters Farm bowl.

Always found it odd that the Pac 12 and SEC not have any bowl games pitted against each other unless it's a playoff game.

I think those conference records will actually mean something when Big 10 teams don't have to play USC/UCLA/Pac10 in California or SEC teams in Florida....this year's record notwithstanding. Ironically the only bowl game the B1G has lost so far was kind of in our backyard, NYC.

I had a Purdue fan come up to me after the girls won the volleyball national championship and tell me, "gosh must be soooo nice to play a national championship in your backyard, that's not even fair."

I replied, yeah but that doesn't even begin to make up for all the Orange Bowls we had to play against Florida State and Miami for national championships, plus the Sugar Bowls against LSU. He just quietly nodded his head and walked away.

Too bad Indiana lost a squeaker. Hopefully Iowa can handle Stanford so another loss to BIG schools.

The majority of USC bowl wins are in the Rose Bowl.... Go figure..... Big 10 has always had an unfair advantage playing in the Rose Bowl and their record verifies that or history.

Even Oklahoma never had to play FSU or Miami FL AS many times as we had to in Miami.

Oklahoma is the joke...got lucky with Baylor and TCU both not having their starting QBs when they played them, basically pulled out miracles vs Tenn and TCU...defense not good, Big12 in general a poor conference. Feels like the champ game is at 7/6p tonight.
