I come from the Indiana baseball forum and we are having a discussion over there. Does anyone know if the Michigan and MSU make-up game will count in the conference standings? I thought I read somewhere that a conference make-up game had to be played within a specific time frame. (I don't know what that time frame is.) But what I was reading stated that the time had run out and this game would not count in the conference standings. Thanks for any help.

Good luck getting that straight. The Big Ten is suspiciously inconsistent here. They have the rule you cited but a couple years ago they allowed a Tuesday double header between Minnesota and Rutgers to make up for a lost weekend which happened much earlier.

Non-con games vs conference opponents are lame enough before you have a situation like this pop up.

Ridiculous that they couldn't count this as their 3rd conference matchup since the original was canceled.
