Favorite time of the post-season is watching upsets and AL bids shrinking by the day.

Fairfield lost, there's 1 AL gone.
East Carolina lost, there's another AL gone.
*Fairfield eliminated, ECU tbd*

Feel free to update as conference tournaments continue.

East Carolina is still in it. Leading Cincy 5-0 after two in the loser bracket.

Just saw that Fairfield is still alive in the loser bracket of their tournament. Plays tomorrow.

BTW, as has been the case all season long, it’s fine for all to join me in openly rooting against Creighton. There are no conflicting emotions about RPI boosts.

In all cases such as this, RPI concerns be damned even when they are a factor.

Usually I can get this list from D1Baseball Stock Report but this year that report is truncated and not including this information. So, I made my own, readers beware. 😁

Potential bid stealers (Qualified leader(s) but an outsider could steal a bid from other conferences via the AQ thingy)
- American Athletic (East Carolina is in, an outsider could steal)
- ASUN (Liberty is in, an outsider could steal)
- Atlantic 10 (VCU is in, an outsider could steal)
- Big East (UConn is in, an outsider could steal)
- Big 12 (Four teams in, an outsider could steal)
- Colonial Athletic (Northeastern is in, an outsider could steal)
- CUSA (Four teams in, an outsider could steal)
- Horizon League (Wright St is in , an outsider could steal)
- MAAC (Fairfield is in, an outsider could steal)
- Mo Valley (Indiana St is in, an outsider could steal)

We can expect fewer stolen bids this year because several conferences have opted out of a conference tournament and have no chance to steal a bid. We're not alone. All those conferences are left off this list.

There are a number of conferences so bad they have no one who will get an at-large bid, only their AQ will go.

Also, I left off the ACC and the SEC b/c they have so many qualifiers for an a-large bid surely one of them will win the AQ spot.
