All as a person who spent many years in Omaha and Miami I have insight that I thought I would pass along about these schools after the offers went out.
Columbus - This is an all boys Catholic school that has been around a very long time and often the kids that go there have the same teachers as their dads. This school is very similar to Prep in Omaha. Their head coach is top notch, and even has coached national teams. They probably have the largest fan support in the area. My son attended and went to the school, and I can tell you they have 90% college graduation rate and they usually produce at last 1 BCS level player each year. Their team is made up of 25% scholarship players and 75% non scholarship players. Very good program to make inroads at.
Southridge - is a public school and has a long history of producing speed skill players. The school does sit in an economically depressed neighborhood, with lots of section 8 housing around it. Not no known as a strong academic school. Their coach is good but not anywhere near the level of the Columbus coach.
