I expect a lot of Husker fans are staying up for this one, so figured I would start a thread before DerHusker did.

Bondi kicks off for Hawaii - touchback. Buffs in silver pants and silver helmets - WTF. Puffs go 3 and out.

I'm on the under 60.5 Not a great start. Max Wittek Hawaii QB. 5.9 USC transfer

Hawaii blocks colo punt. Score in 3 plays. Successful 2-pt conversion, Hawaii 8-0. Bondi kicks off, touchback. Stadium is 1/4 full. Colorado 3 and out, punts ball.

End of first Q. Colorado has 51 total yards, a punt blocked and almost were tackled for a safety. Hawaii has 48 total yards, 8 points and threw a pick (and another was dropped). This game sucks, I'm out.

Actually kind of entertaining but man CU is baaaaaad. 8 pt game late in the 4th. Hawaii has some players.

Colorado had the ball at about the 7 as time ran out. The official dropped the ball twice trying to spot it so they could snap it and time ran out.:D

After games like this, it's quite entertaining to check out the allbuffs forum.

I particularly liked this post in a thread titled: Official I'm off the bandwagon thread

"This is my first year as a CU football fan. I have been lurking the board quite often, bought season tickets and some gear, and been talking with some alumni. I was pretty excited to watch the team turn the corner and become relevant again as the board had done a pretty good job of selling the kool aid.

Congrats to all of you who still somehow believe in this team. If yesterday's total ****show was an indication of the last decade I honestly don't know how it has any fans left. That wasn't fun to watch. ******* CSU-Pueblo is more fun to watch than an incompetent team with incompetent coaching and no leadership from anyone. How all parties involved from a school that won a mother****ing national championship let this happen I have no idea.

My point isn't to rub glass in an oozing wound, it's to say that the program MUST have major changes across the board. MM has no idea how to lead a team. Sorry. Truth hurts. From an outsiders perspective there are truthfully better disciplined high school teams in the state. Bad teams, like Arkansas last year, can still be fun to watch because they are putting their soul into every play and not making dumbass coaching decisions. This team was not fun to watch, at all. No casual fan will stick around long. I felt embarrassed and I barely know the program. They go 2-11 this year, winless in conference.

Hope they man the **** up and prove me wrong."

As low as Colorado is, hosting Colorado was a BIG game for Hawaii, who are the only college football in the entire state. Hawaii won't host another "major conference" opponent until the 2019 season.

CU has become an annual dumpster fire. Sad to see from a once quality program (at least for a period of time in the 90's and 2000's).

I don't see things changing for them any time soon. The may as well join the Mountain West Conference and rule the day there more often than not. The Pac 12 will keep them relegated to a bottom dweller as the Kansas or Iowa State programs were in the Big 8/12.
