Read it and laugh from nutbuffs, er, netbuffs:
NU move vs. CU move....not even close...
Nebraska joined a conference where it stands out in exactly nothing...from locale, to education, to history in athletics, etc. It was a terrible decision. NU banked on Cali and Texas in recruiting in its heyday....those kids don't flock to the Big Ten at all and never will...unless you're a top five program, which you'll never be...all you have to look at is the fact that not a single big time coach was remotely interested in your coaching vacancy last season...you can't compete in that conference and you never will. Pound your chest, celebrate you recruiting class, but go check with Sparty, OSU, and Michigan on how they did....those three programs are elite and will stay that way for years...better make football success an afterthought and buy those 1990's Blue Ray's if you want to see lots of winning.
CU has been down by its own doing. There was a reason for our demise and it was largely self created. Utah and Colorado are locational outliers within the conference they joined and provide a substantial difference to their peers when it comes to scenery and quality of life. CU will be back...zero doubt. You sir, will be left to muddle...
