We are somewhat lost in the shuffle and for good reason. I'd rather this team not be ranked to start the year.

Probably a good idea to start the season with a chip on their shoulders. I do think there is potential to improve if the pitching comes through. Should have better team speed and perhaps a defensive upgrade at a few positions. Pitching and chemistry will be the difference.

Boy, I would sure hope so. 5 games under .500 in the Big Ten...finishing 8th in a weak conference....hopefully year 5 over the Erstad ERA we see dramatic improvement.
 
So USC is 13 in one POLL and not in the top 40 of another POLL...I guess that's why you don't mail in the results...
