Colin Cowherd lays into Iowa

Iowa certainly doesn't schedule many big time OOC opponents, but their schedule this year and the wins they have stack up quite well against the other teams vying for playoff spots.

He is the worst. How anyone can even listen to his voice is beyond me, let alone his moronic views. I'm no Iowa fan and I want so badly to knock them out, but it seems people aren't being objective about them and can't accept that they are good. They are very good. It's okay. It doesn't mean we have to like them.

And I know the transitive property doesn't apply to football, but it's blatantly dishonest for him to tout Stanford as a top 4 team when they lost to Northwestern, who Iowa laid a 30 point ass reaming on in Evanston. But yeah, we're fakers.

Sorry, I know you guys have Rutgers to think about and we need to get Floyd of Rosedale back before the Hawks and Huskers have anything to do with each other, but with assbags like Cowherd running their yaps and no one correcting them, it does a disservice to college football fans everywhere.

Good rant about Iowa, but it doesn't top the one about Virginia a few years ago. He was right about that one as well.

Can somebody tell me if we get his show in Omaha since his move to Fox? I haven't heard him since, and I would like to try and catch his show again.

There is actually a pretty good thread on the Io_a board regarding the schedules of some SEC teams. as well as match ups this year. Worth looking at. I'll try to link in a bit.

He might be an arrogant bastard, but is he wrong? Nope!
To this point I would say he's wrong. Iowa has played a bunch of solid teams and is unbeaten. They may still lose 3 games and prove him right, but right now he is wrong.

Baylor will lose two if not three of their remaining games, and then Art Briles will not look like such a damn good coach.

I don't think Briles is as good of a coach as his recruiters (er, boosters) are at landing amazing talent. No one can credibly argue that Baylor should be landing the caliber of players they have landed in the last 5 years. I am quite sure someone has figured out a way to use the old SWC recruiting methods and so far they haven't been caught.

If Iowa wins the B1G title game, people will take them seriously and only then can they say "We told you so"

'Bama gets a ton of love because they usually win primetime games against top flight competition, like they did last Saturday when they handled LSU. You think Iowa would win that game? Not me.

Here are their Rivals rankings the last 3 years plus their current ranking. They must be doing a great job of evaluating talent or developing it. None of these rankings suggest wide spread cheating like you saw at Ole Miss, etc... Not saying you are wrong just that the rankings don't suggest they are getting top ranked talent.
