Weird phrasing... I'm guessing he is saying that we had Crouch in 2001, and that since 2002.. Suh is the best guy we've had.

Maybe he is referring to recruited players? From that time frame I think Demorrio Williams was a 5-star equivalent player that we recruited.

Chris septak was rated higher than Suh, but that was 2000. 2002 wasn't a stellar year for anything but early in that recruiting year Brandon Greeson was very highly rated. Dropped off dramatically during the season, but i can't remember why.
